On the 29th March 2005, Chesham became the first Fairtrade Town in Buckinghamshire. Trinity Baptist Church has been involved in this campaign since the very beginning.

Churches Together for Chesham

Churches Together for Chesham is an intermediate body of Churches Together in England who draw together Christian churches from across the traditions. It exists to support expressions of Christian unity and to encourage the churches as they witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ, praying for one another, worshipping together and engaging together in mission to their local communities and beyond.

Baptist Union of Great Britian

The Baptist Union of Great Britian is the Baptist family in England and Wales It is made up of churches, regional associations and Baptist colleges. The Union works with others in the mission locally, regionally and internationally. Three specialist teams based at Baptist House in Didcot offer help, advice and resources. There are over 2,100 churches belonging to the Union, each of them autonomous, self-funding and the majority of them financially independent, Trinity being one of them.

BMS World Mission

BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation, working in around 35 countries on four continents. BMS personnel are mainly involved in church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health, media and advocacy.

Local Churches

Our church is closely linked with other religious establishments in the surrounding area. Our church has a close link with Chesham United Reformed Church (URC), who used our building for worship in 2012, while they were having their own church re-developed. We also share services alternating the venue between the two churches in the summer months.

Other Charities we Support


Workaid is a charity committed to tackling poverty in a practical way by helping disadvantaged people, overseas and in the UK, to help themselves through practical skills training. Throughout the UK unwanted tools and equipment are collected and restored to send to the vocational training projects. This helps vulnerable and disadvantaged people to learn the trade skills and start their own business.

Chiltern Foodbank

13 million people live below the poverty line in the UK. Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on low income. Trussell Trust foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crises in the UK.
